As spring break comes around, many teenagers and families do not know what to do during their time off. Whether it is relaxing, doing homework, or exercising; there is an abundance of things for you to do. If none come to mind, here are some ideas and places to go during your Spring Break.
School is stressful. Dealing with AP and Honors classes and Spring break homework is daunting, so take some time off and relax. Things like yoga, sleeping, and swimming are some fun activities you can do to relax.
Hangout with Friends!
School and extracurricular activities keep teens busy for months. Breaks allow opportunities for people to hangout with friends. Activities such as, watching new movies, hanging out at one another’s houses, and going out to eat at new places are some things you could do throughout break.
Stay at Home
There is no place like home. Sometimes just staying at home and doing things like reading, watching TV, playing video games, and working out can relieve anxiety from school and keep you productive during break.
Go on a Vacation/Road Trip
Going on a road trip by yourself or with family during spring break can allow you to have some fun with new experiences and a closer bond with family. Places like Yosemite National Park and Grand Canyon National Park are open 24 hours every day, which can provide you and/or your family with awesome sights and sounds of the wilderness.
Take a hike!
San Diego provides some of the best hiking experiences for you to go on. According to sandiegomagazine.com, places such as La Jolla, Torrey Pines, Cowles Mountain, and Palomar Mountain provide good hiking routes and views to take in with yourself or loved ones whether it be during the morning, afternoon, or evening.
